So you’ve bought an original painting or print online and your partner doesn’t like it, or it isn’t quite what you hoped for. What do you do? Is it even possible to get refunds for purchased artwork?
Well, of course one option is to talk your partner round or live with your mistake. It doesn’t need to be like that.
Hassle-Free Returns
If you’ve bought animal paintings, prints or homeware gifts online from Caroline Skinner Art, you can return them without any hassle. It’s always good to know why you’re returning it, but you don’t need to think up 20 excuses. All I ask is that you:
- Let me know in writing or by email within 14 days of receipt that you’ve changed your mind;
- Return the artwork to me within a further 14 days in its original saleable condition;
- Carefully package the art in the original packaging or similar and send by insured delivery at your own expense.
I will refund your original payment in full on receipt of the artwork, provided it is in its original saleable condition. Please note that this applies to all items sold on my website, except painting commissions, and Gift Certificates, which are non-refundable.

Extended Refund Policy
If you buy original animal paintings online from this website in November or December, I offer an extended refund policy for the Christmas period. If you change your mind, simply let me know in writing by 15th January of the following year, and return the original artwork by 30th January following the above guidelines. I can then process refunds for your purchased artwork.
