Oll Pejeta Kenyan Sofa Safari

For all you wildlife lovers that can’t get out to see your favourite animals at the moment (2020), I highly recommend that you go onto Instagram for a great daily Sofa Safari in Kenya with the lovely rangers at Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

If you think you’ve heard that name before, it’s probably because that’s where the last two remaining female Northern White Rhinos live. Sadly, Sudan who was the last male Northern White Rhino died there in 2018. You can read about Sudan and how I use my rhino art to support rhino conservation efforts in my blog post Sudan and Saving Wildlife.

The Sofa Safari takes place live daily at 4.30pm East African Time (that’s 2.30pm here in the UK). The rangers take you out across the Conservancy and explain all about the wildlife that they find, and you can even ask questions and interact with them.  While the tourists are staying away due to COVID-19 this is a unique way to see Kenyan wildlife. The Sofa Safari is free, but Ol Pejeta Conservancy will appreciate any donations, however small.

See you there!
